From the component host, click the Windows Start button, and select Control Panel 
Administrative Tools Services.
When you shut down the N4 system, it is important to stop the Navis services in a specific order. See Shut down the N4 system (on page 1).
To shut down the Navis services for N4 from Windows:
From the component host, click the Windows Start button, and select Control Panel Administrative Tools Services.
From the Services (Local) list, select the Navis service, and right click.
From the menu that appears, select Stop. The Status column is now blank.
To shut down the Navis services for N4 from Linux:
From the Linux server terminal, enter:
sudo service sparcsn4[node] stop
where node is the name of the N4 service you are stopping, such as center | cluster | ecn4 | ecn4web.
